519% growth, 830+ attendees across 50 countries

Re-imagined a canceled in-person conference as a cinematic global broadcast on a four-month runway, directing a five- person media team through 15+ hours of graded film content, a 130-asset social campaign, and a rebuilt registration experience, which grew turnout 519% to 830+ attendees across 50 countries.

85% retention for invite-only founder gatherings

Designed invite-only founder gatherings from the ground up, owning boutique venue sourcing, sensory and aesthetic direction, AI-assisted member matching, and live A/V and catering contingencies, sustaining 85% retention and doubling the program's seed investment.

$80K raised, recurring 300-person hybrid experiences in NYC

Produced recurring 300-person hybrid experiences at boutique NYC venues and private rooftops, art-directing the on-site atmosphere, directing multi-camera A/V, and leading a cross-functional video, web, and marketing team, which raised $80K and lifted digital engagement 129%.

Meet Roberto

I build experiences. I started behind a camera, producing photo and film for brands and events, and that filmmaker's instinct for story, light, and pacing still drives how I design a room.

Over time I learned that the best events are not just produced, they are felt, so I moved from documenting moments to creating them.

Today I produce gatherings for founders and creatives, owning the full arc from the first mood board to the final recap reel.

I'm fluent in the AI tools changing how communities connect, and I care most about one thing: making everyone feel seen and embraced when they are together in a room.

How I Work

How I Work

How I Work

Four moves I make on every production, from the first piece of priming through to the afterlife of the gathering.

Four moves I make on every production, from the first piece of priming through to the afterlife of the gathering.

Define the room before designing the night.

Every event begins with a sharp purpose and a curated guest list, not a venue or a theme. Who is in the room is the most important design decision I make. By closing the door deliberately, you create the room.

Every event begins with a sharp purpose and a curated guest list, not a venue or a theme. Who is in the room is the most important design decision I make. By closing the door deliberately, you create the room.

01

The event starts the moment they hear about it.

From the invitation forward, every touchpoint primes the experience. Visuals, language, what I ask guests to bring, what I tell them to leave behind. The pregame does half the work the room itself would otherwise have to do.

02

Host the arc, not just the agenda.

Bold openings, no logistics-first introductions. A programmed flow where the energy moves with intention, with pop-up rules that turn the room into its own bounded world for a few hours. I protect, equalize, and connect, so the guests do not have to.

03

Close with intention. Extend the afterlife.

A real ending: a last call, a moment of reflection, a thread back to the outside world. Then the content engine takes over. Highlight reels, recap stories, member follow-ups, in-room moments shared back out. The event ends, but the story keeps going.

Applied Strategy

If I Were Producing HuCapital Innovation Week...

Five evenings. Four verticals. One pitch competition. Here is how I would produce it, mapped to the same four-step methodology above.

Define the room before designing the night.

Each night needs its own sharp purpose, not a generic AI event. Curate the guest list per vertical using HuMatched data to pre-map the room's chemistry and cap capacity so every attendee knows they earned a seat. The Friday pitch competition is the reward for the week's builders, not a separate event.

01

The event starts the moment they hear about it.

Registration is the first chapter, not a form. Build a pregame: a welcome video from the host, a meet-your-cohort thread, a mini-challenge (bring one AI tool nobody in your industry is using), and a curated playlist per vertical. By Monday at 6pm, attendees should already feel like they belong to something.

02

Host the arc, not just the agenda.

Open each night with a bold, non-logistical moment: a 90-second story from someone who built something real with AI that week. The vibe coding session becomes a temporary alternative world with pop-up rules: laptops open, phones away, ship before the room closes. Fireside chats programmed for productive heat, not polite agreement.

03

Close with intention. Extend the afterlife.

Friday's pitch competition is the last call. A 60-second 'what I built this week' lightning round ties the audience's experience to what they judge. After: a 48-hour recap reel, a best-moments carousel, and a HuMatched follow-up connecting each attendee to three people they met but did not exchange details with. The week ends. The community does not.

04

This is a high level strategy sketch, not a finished production plan. The real plan gets built after a discussion about what Innovation Week needs to become next. I'd love to have that conversation!
