The pandemic killed the in-person plan with four months left on the clock. Beyond the logistics, the harder problem was philosophical: how do you create a temporary alternative world in people's living rooms? The default reflex for any organization in 2020 was a Zoom webinar. That would have been the death of this community.

Designed the experience backward from a single purpose: an attendee in Kenya and an attendee in Brooklyn should feel they were in the same room. Began with the pregame, surveying prior attendees to surface the real pain points (mental health, faith-based relationships) so the theme answered something they were actually asking. Directed a five-person media team through 15+ hours of cinema-grade content across seminars, music videos, and testimonials, all captured on professional cinema equipment and graded in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Deployed a 130-asset social campaign and a Meta Ads engine to carry the priming forward week by week. Rebuilt the website and registration for a frictionless entry into the world we were building.

Used Gemini Advanced to map audience demographics and surface speakers whose values genuinely matched the founders we were inviting, not just speakers with names. Negotiated availability and contracts directly with talent representation. Built the CRM and onboarding flow as a continuation of the experience itself, so the first touchpoint felt curated, not corporate.
